The suction unit Medeas sets a new standard by meeting the highest requirements. Modern, unique, and equipped with a few technical refinements, it ensures safe and clean work. The modern touchscreen display makes work much easier in many ways. Preferred speeds are visible directly on the display. Help videos describe the most important features and ensure foolproof operation. Instructions (e.g., changing filter bags, cleaning chuck, etc.) can be displayed on the monitor. Using a USB stick, you can show your clients your own pictures, for example, to illustrate their treatment progress.
The Medeas Plus has a handpiece with the superior hadewe clamping system, which securely holds tools even at high speeds of 40,000 rpm, preventing instruments from slipping out.

Handpiece Features
The ergonomic handpiece with a diameter of only 17 mm is equipped with a LED light function, integrated directly into the handpiece, allowing ideal working conditions even when external light sources are insufficient.
There is a smart key at the bottom of the handpiece, which allows quick access to important functions. You can easily switch between preset speeds by pressing the key once, or turn the unit on/off by holding the key.
The Quick Chuck Device knob is made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), a soft material that makes using the knob comfortable.
Power Clamping System
The handpiece is equipped with a unique, patented clamping system. A chuck opens inside the handpiece by pressing the familiar hadewe knob forward. The instrument can now enter the unit without resistance. This is especially important with smaller, sharp-edged tools, as they can cause injury if too much force is needed to insert an instrument.
Pushing the knob back will close the chuck, and the tool will be held securely, even at high speeds. The tight grip also ensures low-vibration running, a hallmark of hadewe.
Ultra-Silent High Performance Suction
According to customer surveys, silent suction is one of the most important criteria when purchasing a podiatry drill. Both the motor and sound insulation quality are key factors. The use of various insulating materials reduces a wide spectrum of noise. Neither a high-frequency squeak nor a dull hum should disturb your treatment.
Filter Changing & Chuck Cleaning
When the display shows a filter change is required, simply open the side hatch to replace the filter. The filter chamber is easily accessible and can be comfortably opened thanks to magnetic holders.
Filter bags are classified as class M filters with a dust retention capacity of 99.9%.
Simple and fast maintenance is a key feature of hadewe handpieces. The chuck can be easily removed with the supplied spanner tool. Loosen the top of the handpiece, and then unscrew the chuck. The entire procedure takes less than one minute
